Coordinator's Message

Emily

TO OUR CERES ADULT EDUCATION COMMUNITY,

I am Emily Harry, and I am honored to introduce myself to you as the new Coordinator of Educational Options.  It is with great sense of gratitude that I accept the opportunity to become a part of the “Adult Ed Family.”  Let me take this moment to share my educational experiences and personal background. I have grown up in Ceres my whole life and attended all Ceres schools.  I earned my Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree from California State University, Stanislaus.  I have worked in the district the past 20 years, serving as a teacher, Assistant Principal at Caswell Elementary, and a Principal of Carroll Fowler Elementary.

It has been my passion over the years to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure that all students receive and benefit from a quality learning experience. As the instructional leader, and coordinator of your school, I highly value student engagement and believe that your participation is vital as we work together to provide an excellent educational experience for you.

As we provide the information for our class offerings to you, it is with great pleasure that we can once again welcome students back to our classrooms. As we embark on the 2021/2022 school year, I enter with the optimism of our school community being together again.  The staff at Ceres Adult School have been serving the community with distance learning for over a full year since the initial shelter in place was ordered back in March 2020.

The continued commitment of our staff to provide the best instruction and resources whether it be virtually and/or in-person is very strong. For current and up to date information on our programs and classes, please visit our website at https://adulted.ceres.k12.ca.us or call 209-556-1557. I look forward to having you join our school community as new or returning students for the fall and spring of
2021/2022.

Sincerely,

Emily Harry, Coordinator
